Hatim Barma
Founder & CEO
Hatim is a healthcare technology executive with more than 15 years of experience helping health systems, academic medical centers, behavioral health organizations and payers solve complex technology, clinical, operational and financial challenges.
As Founder & CEO of Hit That Noggin, Hatim leads the firm’s strategy, client partnerships, service development and growth. Since founding HTN in 2017, he has led more than $25 million in healthcare technology consulting engagements, working directly with CIOs and executive teams on enterprise implementations, optimization, interoperability and strategic transformation.
Prior to founding HTN, Hatim spent five years at Cerner, now Oracle Health. Throughout his career, he has worked across more than 100 hospitals and healthcare facilities, supported 1,500+ providers and led 250+ go-live conversions across 100+ specialties. His experience is deeply rooted in Oracle Health/Cerner and has expanded across Epic, MEDITECH, Netsmart and other healthcare technology platforms.
Hatim remains closely engaged with HTN’s clients, bringing a hands-on perspective to complex challenges and ensuring the firm’s work delivers practical, sustainable and measurable outcomes. Under his leadership, HTN has grown from its Oracle Health roots into an EHR-agnostic consulting firm supporting healthcare organizations across a broad range of technologies and strategic priorities.
Hatim is an active CHIME member and serves on the CHIME Applications & Analytics Leadership Council. He is a graduate of Purdue University.
sabrina khokhawalla
Chief Financial Officer
Sabrina has more than 20 years of experience in the financial sector, serving a diverse range of businesses.
As a banker, she successfully managed her customers’ finances and assisted them in promoting overall growth as well as facilitating more efficient business operations with strategic consulting.
In her current role with Hit That Noggin, Sabrina supports our consultants, resolves issues, and assists with forecasting and financial management to meet the company’s long- and short-term goals.
Sophie Barma
Senior Vice President, Growth & Operations
Sophie is a healthcare operations executive with more than 15 years of experience leading client operations, implementation, adoption, and organizational transformation across healthcare technology and services.
As Senior Vice President of Operations & Growth at Hit That Noggin, Sophie leads operational strategy and works across client delivery, organizational development, and growth. She focuses on building the teams, processes, and operating models that enable HTN to scale while maintaining a high standard of expertise, accountability, and client partnership.
Prior to her expanded leadership role at HTN, Sophie spent more than a decade at athenahealth in progressive leadership roles spanning enterprise implementation, professional services, and adoption success. She led large, distributed teams supporting complex healthcare organizations, with a focus on improving performance, accelerating time to value, strengthening technology adoption, and delivering measurable client outcomes.
Sophie brings an operator’s perspective to HTN’s leadership team, connecting strategy with execution to help healthcare organizations navigate change, improve performance, and realize greater value from their technology investments.
hunter dryden
director of EHR solutions
Hunter is a healthcare IT leader with more than 11 years of experience in EHR implementation, optimization, and project delivery, with deep technical expertise in Oracle Health (Cerner) solutions, clinical workflows, and provider documentation.
As Director of EHR Solutions at Hit That Noggin, Hunter plays a key role in leading EHR engagements, overseeing project delivery, guiding consulting teams, and developing client relationships.
Combining technical expertise with a hands-on leadership approach, he partners with healthcare executives, clinical teams, and informatics leaders to understand organizational challenges, develop tailored solutions, and drive successful outcomes.
Throughout his career, Hunter has personally executed more than 50 projects, collaborating with client stakeholders and leading consulting teams to deliver meaningful improvements.
His experience includes EHR design and build, clinical documentation, and nursing and provider workflow optimization, helping healthcare organizations improve usability, streamline operations, and enhance the clinician experience.
Hunter began his career as a Systems Analyst at Cerner, now Oracle Health, where he developed a strong foundation in EHR implementation and customization. Today, he draws on that experience to align technology solutions with organizational priorities and help HTN’s clients achieve lasting clinical, operational, and financial value.

As healthcare organizations navigate that change, the focus is not only on maintaining and optimizing the EHR they use today, but also on understanding how new Oracle capabilities can enhance that environment over time. This includes continued movement toward OCI, more connected data models, and emerging AI-enabled functionality that can shape clinical, operational, and financial workflows.
Through this alignment, we are continuing to build the expertise needed to support clients across that EHR journey, helping them improve current-state workflows while staying up to speed on the direction Oracle Health is heading.
We are also members of the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME), a professional organization for healthcare CIOs and senior IT leaders.
